Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team. As the “go-to-person” on multiple accounts, you’ll bring a deep understanding of client service, marketing principles, and business acumen. In this role, you’ll be responsible for initiating projects, demonstrating category knowledge, and guiding internal teams to successfully deliver on your accounts’ scopes of work. This includes leading design and digital projects from start to finish, establishing and managing budgets and timelines, developing creative briefs, managing client communication, collaborating with your team to deliver on-strategy work, and overseeing your account invoicing and forecasts. The ideal candidate embodies an entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity, candor, and has a strong sense of urgency and resourcefulness. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for this role.
Qualifications
ACCOUNT STEWARDSHIP
- • Cultivate meaningful relationships based on trust by providing proactive, reliable, and professional account stewardship
- • Understand each client’s business goals, industry, target audience, marketplace, and competition
- • Collaborate with team leads to develop plans in alignment with the client’s brand, business strategy, and organizational objectives
- • Earn client trust and respect by staying one step ahead of their needs
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- • Create, manage, and clearly communicate project plans, budget worksheets, schedules, and client feedback
- • Closely monitor and optimize project budgets
- • Deliver high-quality work that is on budget and on time
- • Work intuitively, independently, and collaboratively to effectively keep the internal team informed of project specifics and details
- • Make sound decisions, resolve problems independently, and know when to elevate potential issues
- • Lead proactive, effective, timely, and error-free communications through a variety of channels and platforms
- • Confidently demonstrate client readiness as a professional, efficient, and engaging meeting leader
- • Meticulously manage business revenue projections, billing, and invoices
TEAM COLLABORATION
- • Prepare insightful and compelling creative briefs that successfully communicate client objectives and educate teams
- • Play a strong, supportive role in each account’s brand, strategy and creative development
- • Provide insightful, actionable, and clear direction on assignments for the internal project team
- • Lead by example to help build and support a positive, productive team
- • Demonstrate openness to jump in whenever and wherever needed to support your internal team and create the strongest work
- • Collaborate with team members on ways to improve internal processes
- • Support new business opportunities as needed
ADDITIONAL INFO
- • 5-7 years of account management experience (at least 3-5 years of experience within a digital or creative agency)
- • Direct experience managing digital products—website design/development, and digital campaigns—and brand development
- • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- • Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, quick, and assertive
- • Working knowledge of project management software or systems. Workamajig, Basecamp, and Google Apps experience are a huge plus
- • Demonstrable analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- • Ability to take and give constructive criticism
- • Ability to build consensus and relationships among clients and team

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, for Colorado-based roles only: Minimum annual salary of $75,000-$90,000, commensurate with experience.
