Rocky Mountain Equality

BUSINESS CHALLENGE

Reimagine a venerated LGBTQ+ non-profit’s branding to define their next bold chapter.

THE DETAILS

Rocky Mountain Equality (formerly known as Out Boulder County) has been a stalwart force for LGBTQ+ advocacy along the Front Range since 1994.

A long-time friend of Vermilion, Rocky Mountain Equality (RMEQ) turned to us to help shape what was next for them: a rebrand that would clearly communicate their scope of influence (which extends well beyond Boulder County) and their superpower (breaking down barriers that prevent LGBTQ+ people from reaching their full quality of life).

Together, we crafted a new name, look, and feel through a deeply collaborative, community-centered process. The results reflect RMEQ’s confident, bold, and joyful approach to advocacy while honoring the organization’s storied history. Plus, we got to bring the rebrand to life at RMEQ’s offices with a pretty slick new paint job that honors local LGBTQ+ legends.
