THE DETAILS

Wildfire Partners is Boulder County’s boots-on-the-ground wildfire mitigation program established in 2014 to help residents prepare for, rather than react to, the next wildfire. The nationally recognized nonprofit, backed by the voter-approved Wildfire Mitigation Sales Tax, provides home assessments, tailored mitigation guidance, defensible space recommendations, and rebates that make important home-hardening work more attainable.

To expand Wildfire Partners’ circle of influence across more of the county, we’ve developed, launched, and managed a multi-year public awareness campaign that educates the public about the programs offered, including the rebate program, which provides up to $500 for homeowners who complete approved mitigation work. Our campaign includes digital assets, streaming audio, local bus ads, “Hot Line” experiential activations, yard signs, print flyers, training videos, and direct mail to meet our neighbors where they are—and remind them that preparing for wildfires is up to all of us.
