Growth Coordinator

Job Description
At Vermilion, success is measured by both our performance and the impact we help create. The Growth Coordinator plays a key support role on our growth team, reporting to and working closely with the Growth & Impact Director. This position helps develop and organize materials for new business opportunities and agency marketing efforts. Responsibilities include drafting and formatting proposals, coordinating internal inputs, managing the pipeline processes, and supporting outreach to prospective clients.
The right candidate is organized, collaborative, curious, and eager to learn. Strong writing, design sense, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to stay on top of details across multiple projects. The ideal candidate is self-directed, confident, outgoing, and friendly, with a strong sense of customer service and a focus on client support.
This is a role for someone who wants to grow in business development, client relations, and marketing inside a purpose-driven creative agency.
Responsibilities
Business Development
- – Take detailed call notes and organize next steps for prospective client opportunities.
- – Understand the mission, business, and brand strategies of new client prospects.
- – Assist in preparing project estimates and draft proposal materials with guidance.
- – Format and design proposal decks and presentations.
- – Keep the business development pipeline tracker accurate and up-to-date.
- – Help prioritize opportunities with direction from the Growth & Impact Director.
- – Conduct prospect research and assist in organizing outreach strategies.
- – Provide administrative and presentation support for client-facing meetings.
Marketing & Collaboration
- – Support agency marketing activities, including drafting case studies, updating website content, helping with social posts, newsletters, industry award submissions, and events.
- – Represent Vermilion professionally at networking events and conferences as needed.
- – Coordinate with internal team members during proposal and pitch processes.
- – Keep the Growth & Impact Director informed of pipeline activity and deadlines.
- – Work collaboratively with teammates, escalating challenges and offering solutions.
- – Resolve problems independently with a solutions-first approach, and know when to elevate potential issues.
Qualifications
Must-Haves
- – 2–4 years of experience in business development, marketing, or sales.
- – Visual sense for presentation design and photo selection.
- – Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for clear, compelling communication.
- – Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- – Proficiency with Google Slides, Sheets, and the broader Google Workspace.
- – Strategic thinking and self-directed problem-solving skills.
- – Ability to work collaboratively, take feedback, and adapt quickly.
Nice-to-Haves
- – Experience in a creative or marketing agency environment.
- – Bilingual: Spanish conversational/fluency.
- – Familiarity with estimating or supporting branding, digital, or marketing projects.
- – Knowledge of and interest in industries we serve: social impact, outdoor/environment, health & wellbeing, natural CPG, education.
- – Experience with CRMs and/or lead research tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- – Experience with project management tools like Workamajig or Basecamp.
Details & Benefits
- – Full-time or part-time; remote, ideally based in Colorado.
- – Full-time salary range: $60,000–$70,000 (Colorado Equal Pay Act compliant).

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, for Colorado-based roles only: Minimum full-time annual salary of $60,000-$70,000, commensurate with experience.
