The "Let's Doodle Lunch" Rudi's Organic Bakery promotion invited moms to upload their little Picasso's artwork to a Facebook application to receive a free customized sandwich box with their design on the lid. Each of the designs uploaded to Facebook was immediately added in the "Rudipolitan Museum" where other moms and families could view the submissions. Not only did "Let's Doodle Lunch" inspire children's creativity, it made lunch time more fun. By the end of the month-long, fully-integrated campaign, more than 18,000 proud parents had submitted art. Rudi’s achieved more than 30,000 new Facebook Likes, nearly tripling its goal and more than doubling its fan base, gained a great response on social channels and helped drive awareness sales.

To kick off the new year, we created "Gluten-Freebies," 30 days of giveaways to engage the online community with a fun, simple Facebook sweepstakes supported with online media, website content and blogger outreach. Reaching a tally of over 24,000 new fans and over 6,000 email subscribers for Rudi’s Gluten-Free Bakery, the program was great success and exceeded all goals. And, with over 15,000 coupons printed, it was a great way to share the love of Rudi’s delicious gluten-free breads.

Bringing Brighter Days and Finding New Fans

To drive awareness of the Rudi's Organic Bakery's commitment to living an optimistic life as well as one free of artificial ingredients, preservatives and GMOs, we created the “Brighter Days Giveaway” featuring 30 days of daily giveaways. After liking the page, fans could enter to win upbeat prizes that reflected the Rudi’s lifestyle. A simple mantra encouraging fans to live life to the fullest and connected to the prize description was included on each entry form. The effort included a $1 off coupon good for any Rudi’s product. The campaign garnered 13,250 new Facebook Likes, 5,000 new email subscribers and 7,400 coupon downloads. This program was a finalist in the 2012 PR News' Digital Awards.
